A safe battery model is designed to store renewable energy with a good capacity of carrying high density current. For wind farms and solar panel users, this model can be installed at their existing electricity system with few modifications. The battery consists of a liquid lithium negative electrode, an antimony-lead alloy positive electrode and a molten lithium salt electrolyte. A temperature control system, release valves and membranes are designed for the battery, as it works at high temperatures.
